We’re on the lookout for an experienced Integration Engineer (MuleSoft Developer) to join our high-performing Technology team, based in Auckland’s Viaduct. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining our integration platform – ensuring it scales efficiently and supports Ando’s continued growth and digital transformation.

The role
You’ll be hands-on across the full SDLC – designing, building, and optimising integrations that drive connectivity between our applications. Working closely with a collaborative internal team, you’ll bring your technical expertise and curiosity to craft high-performing, future-fit integration solutions that help us deliver on our vision.

What you’ll do

• Design and build integration platforms using APIs, real-time data flows, process orchestration, and microservices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure integrations align with these
• Contribute to the communication of our technology strategy and roadmap
• Apply DevOps principles to automate, monitor, and optimise integration platforms

What you’ll bring

• Proven commercial experience developing with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and DataWeave
• Strong background implementing SOAP/REST web services
• Proficiency in Java development
• Experience integrating with AWS services
• Experience designing, building, refactoring, or operating large-scale cloud-based systems
• Ability to create and manage basic CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills – you can translate complex tech into clear ideas
• Financial services/Insurance experience is a bonus
