Account Administrator - 14 Month Fixed Term Contract

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our Finance credit control team on a 14-month fixed term contract, supporting key financial operations and helping us deliver smarter, more efficient outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in improving monthly payment allocations, reducing outstanding payments and unallocated cash, and supporting continuous process improvement across the business. You’ll work closely with our Credit Control and Personal Lines teams, helping resolve complex account issues and contributing to a seamless customer and broker experience.
You’ll also:
- Assist with managing unallocated cash and mismatched items
- Provide insights and support on complex accounts
- Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to resolve queries
- Support system improvements and process optimisation
- Help maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
What we’re looking for:
You’re someone who thrives on solving problems and making things better. You bring:
- Experience in credit control, underwriting support, or insurance operations
- Strong knowledge of payment allocation processes and insurance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Confidence using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft tools
- Insurance qualifications (like ANZIIF Cert/Dip) are a bonus, but not essential.
