The role
The purpose of this role is to support the growth, profitability and market positioning of Ando’s Broker Distribution business through the development and implementation of our key partner and key customer strategic engagement programmes.
This role requires domestic and/or international travel to support key initiatives, partnerships and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Development, implementation, and ongoing management of the key partner strategic engagement programme for Ando’s key broker partners.
- Facilitating strong proactive relationships with key people within our key partners acting as a key point of contact between them and Ando.
- Coordinating the planning and execution of strategic meetings and events with key partners in conjunction with our events coordinator.
- Ensuring Ando achieves objectives for participation at our key partners’ conferences and for the negotiation of conference involvement and sponsorship.
- Ensuring Ando achieves a high level of representation and participation in our key partners professional development programs.
- Key Partner sponsorship & events program in conjunction with the heads of distribution segments.
- Development and maintenance of strategies for each key partner aligned with Ando’s growth targets.
- Development & implementation of a quarterly key partner reporting process.
- Recording and reporting on key actions discussed in partner meetings.
- Engaging with key partners to discuss the specific information desired for reporting.
- Implementing a distribution feedback process to disseminate key partner information at fortnightly distribution meetings.
- Development, implementation, and management of our key customer engagement program
- Management of the broker agreements with all our partners, including the oversight and negotiations of commission rates.
- Work closely with the Ando schemes team to ensure due process is followed to review and implement scheme agreements where relevant.
- Responsible for the oversight, monitoring & negotiations of the professional service agreements with our partners.
- Monitor and follow up on complaints for the Distribution team.
- Responsible for the onboarding & due diligence process of brokers who want an agency with Ando.
Qualifications and experience
- Senior level key account relationship management experience.
- Existing relationships with our Key Insurance Broker Partners.
- Deep understanding of the insurance market dynamics.
- A strong command of communication.
- Proven ability to think strategically.
- Ability to present information in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.
- High degree of emotional intelligence.
- Proven commercial and negotiating skills.
- Proven ability to work and converse effectively with all levels of colleagues, clients, and other external contacts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in extracting data from BI reporting systems such as Qlik.
